Who is Soul Mortal? Journey of Mortal and how he created Soul team Organization

Soul Mortal

Soul Mortal aka Naman Mathur is India's one of the best gamer and esports athletes. Soul Mortal has been a widely popular gamer in India among the teenagers and younger audience. He is also a popular streamer of India and has more than 6.20M subscribers on youtube which is just less than a hydra dynamo who has more than 8M subscribers as an Indian gamer.

Background of Soul Mortal 

Mortal is from Navi Mumbai where he was born and brought up. After his father died early, his mother and elder brother took care of him. As a child, he was always playing games on his PC and his favourite game was Counter-Strike. But like every parent's his parents were also not very pleased as Mortal playing games most of the time rather than studying. So after that Mortal tried to focus more on studies and Passed the 12th standard and took admissions B.COM. As his parents were not happy with gaming, he started playing games on mobile in college. And then Mini Militia launched and became popular so Mortal also started playing that game and that's where Journey of Mortal started.

After that, he started to post videos of mini militia's gameplay on youtube for fun and was not serious about it. In 2018 PUBG mobile launched in India and we all know the craze of the game. Mortal started playing PUBG in 2018 and also started posting videos of his gameplay. 

How Mortal became Popular 

In 2018 Mortal's video of PUBG gameplay "everyone PUBG will watch this ending"  went massively viral which made him popular among the PUBG audience. After that, there was no looking back for Mortal. According to him, this was so unexpected for him as he was just posting videos on youtube and never took it seriously. After that Mortal regularly started to post his gameplay videos of PUBG on youtube which was well received from the audience.

Mortal started streaming on Youtube after he saw the potential and started rank pushing in PUBG. And in the meantime, he became one of the best streamers in India. Now he plays many other games also on stream.

One thing which makes him so popular is his humbleness. He never disrespects other players and always encourages the others. While streaming he never rages or uses abusive language but still manages to entertain the audience and that's what makes him different from other popular streamers. Many a time his streaming viewership goes over 100k which is an insane number.

How Mortal created Soul Organization?

Mortal created a soul clan in 2018 when he participated in a dream hack event in Mumbai with a viper, Ronak, Owais and Slayer. Where they won the tournament and from there Soul clan started. And after that Naman Mathur got the name of "SOUL Mortal".

In the growth of the Soul, Animesh Agrawal aka 8 bit Thug has a major role to play as he is the one who always supports Mortal. 8 bit Thug is a manager of the Soul Mortal and other Soul players. The other person who has a major in Soul is Soul Viper aka Yash Soni who is with Soul Mortal right from the start of the Soul Organization. Many players came in Soul, got fame and left but Soul Viper always stood with Mortal when they were going through the rough patch. And that's why their bond of friendship is great. Mortal and Viper's in game and off game synergy is great and that's why whenever they play together it always gives better results.

How SOUL organisation and Mortal as a player became Popular ESPORTS 

Mortal plays for his organization which is Soul. After winning a dream hack event Mortal decided to take part in competitions of PUBG. Mortal's first major Tournament win was PMIS 2019 where Soul became champion. In PmIs Soul's line up was Mortal, Viper, Ronak, Owais. 

After the PMIS, Soul played PMCO spring Split where IND was leading by 13 points before the last game and Soul was in the Second position. In the last game IND was knocked out early and Soul came on 3rd position. So that's how Soul Mortal manages to win the PMCO Spring Split 2019. Their line up was Mortal, Viper, Ronak and Owais.

In these two tournaments, Mortal played outstandingly well as he was seen doing clutches and getting kills. Mortal's in-game IQ level is just amazing and his skill level is just amazing. 

In 2020 Soul Mortal was nominated for the best Esports Player of the year and streamer of the year.
